Shoes shoes and more shoes!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I wanted to take a second to talk about one of the most giving people that I know...... my mom. She really would do anything she could to help anyone out. Last week she was watching the news and watched a story about a local elementary school who's students could not play outside for recess, because their families could not afford to buy them shoes for winter. My mom being the person that she is called me and said that she wanted to go buy shoes and donate them to the school. After going to Target and Walmart my mom was able to provide shoes for 27 children that really needed them. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful mother that has taught me how to give. I really would not be the person that I am today with out her examples that she has shown me through out life.

Camping

Last weekend we went camping with Mac's dad and step mom in Bondurant, WY. Lets just say I thought I had been camping until then. On Friday we packed everything (food, clothes, sleeping bags) on the mules and road into the deep woods to go camping. It was so cool to wake up and have the mules tied up right next to the tent ready to hop on and ride. We also went to the hot springs and went swimming. We had a great time!

Trip to Texas

Last weekend I went to Dallas Texas to visit my sister and her family. We went swimming, shopping and played many hours on the wii. It was so much fun to have a sleep over every night with Tate. The pre bed ritual consisted of telling each other stories, singing songs that we would make up, tickling arms and then we could fall asleep. I love visiting but it is always so hard to say goodbye.

2 years!!!

I am a little late on posting, but on July 20Th Mac and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. It is so crazy to think that we have already been married for 2 years. It was my turn to plan it this year so we went to Park City and road the alpine slide and then stayed at the Johnson Mill bed and breakfast in Midway. The bed and Breakfast was so nice. We went on a paddle boat and canoeing. It was such a nice get away..... Oh and did I mention that they printed our name out and put it on the door???

Busy weekend

Last Saturday we went to the Ute stamped in Nephi with my family. Then on Sunday we meet my fam out at the little Sahara and went 4 wheeling. Lets just say never ride on the back of anything that moves with my brother, he is CRAZY!

Gage and Talon

Last week Mac and I babysat our cute nephews, Gage and Talon. To keep them busy we took them to the park, aquarium, dinosaur museum and gateway to play in the water. We had so much fun hanging out with them for a few days!

4th of July

For the 4th of July Mac and I went to Delta. We went to the Demolition Derby with my sister-in-law Brittni and her cute family. Lets just say that the Derby in Salt Lake is nothing like the Derby in Delta. After the Derby we went to my mother in laws house and sat on her front lawn and watched the fire works. It was a perfect 4th of July!
